On behalf of the Organizing committee, it is a great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you to attend the 61st European High Pressure Research Group  The conference will be held in the beautiful city of Jerusalem, Israel, 8 -13 of September 2024.

The EHPRG meeting is renowned for providing a platform for researchers, scientists, and professionals from various disciplines to exchange knowledge,  the field of high-pressure research and our field of research is vibrant and full of technical, computational, and theoretical advancements. 

We are probing deeper into matter under more and more extreme pressures and temperatures and at the same time, we constantly get closer to superconductivity at room temperature and ambient pressure. In between, a lot more going on.

The 61 EHPRG will take place at the exotic venue of Jerusalem. Jerusalem, a city steeped in history and culture, offers an inspiring backdrop for this esteemed event. It is a modern city with a plethora of archeological sites, with its ancient landmarks, vibrant atmosphere, and warm hospitality, Jerusalem, surrounded with lovely mountains, is the perfect location to combine academic excellence with memorable experiences. Complementary to the meeting, Israel has much more to offer: special geology, Middle Eastern and fusion cuisines, exquisite local wines.
